The Dalmore King Alexander III is crafted to honour the act of saving Scotland’s King in 1263.
To make The Dalmore King Alexander III, Master Distiller Richard Paterson has selected a range of differently-aged malts matured in a mixture of French wine casks, Madeira drums, Sherry butts, Marsala barrels, Port pipes and Bourbon barrels from Kentucky.
This masterful feat of blending results in a powerful, complex malt whisky; aromas of orange, tangerine, chocolate, plums lead into a palate of mixed spice, coffee, christmas cake, citrus.
Finishes off with cranberry, orange, spice and lingering vanilla.
Luxurious stuff.
