This limited edition straight rye whiskey was originally matured to perfection for 5 years in traditional American new oak flame charmed barrels, before being expertly finished in the finest dark rum casks from the Caribbean island Jamaica.
The additional 6 month maturation time spent in first fill Caribbean rum casks accentuates the rye spice, while adding subtle, exotic flavours and tropical fruit tones.
Intense notes of rich oak and orange zest balance spectacularly with honeyed character, married with notes of black pepper dark chocolate.
