St Hugo pays tribute to its namesake Hugo, and each vintage they make is in celebration of his love of the land he grew up on, from their first vintage in 1980.

The cool climate and the warm rolling hills of the Eden Valley create wines distinctive in their character, displaying wonderful aromatics, elegance, complexity and finesse.
Each vintage St Hugo’s winemakers select some of the best fruit from the Eden Valley vineyards to create the St Hugo Eden Valley Chardonnay.
Delicate green in colour, the wine has aromas of white peach and lemon curd with hints of citrus blossom on the nose.
On the palate it is well balanced with refreshing flavours of lemon zest and white nectarines, creating a wine of great elegance.
While drinking beautifully now, with careful cellaring this Chardonnay will develop further for up to 10 years.
