This approach allows the wines to develop a strong sense of individuality, with each vintage reflecting the unique terroir and characteristics of the grapes.

The legend of the founders of Ancient Rome, Romulus and Remus, has long intrigued wine enthusiasts.
Romulus, the stronger and more powerful of the twins, infamously murdered his brother in a fit of rage over the naming of Rome.
Winemakers believe that the twins’ contrasting personalities embody the distinctive and unique flavors and attributes of Shiraz from the twin valleys – the Barossa Valley and Eden Valley.
To qualify for the Romulus blend, vineyards must be over 50 years old and managed sustainably.
The fruit is carefully hand-harvested, destemmed and crushed into small open-top fermenters.
Cap management techniques are utilized to accentuate the unique characters of each vineyard parcel.
After 20-25 days on skins, the ferments are pressed and transferred to a combination of new and seasoned French oak hogsheads.
The wine is matured for 18 months in oak without racking, blended, naturally clarified, and bottled without filtration.
The Sons of Eden Romulus Shiraz 2020 vintage is an exceptional year for old vine Barossa Valley Shiraz, with low yields producing a wine that will mature beautifully for many years to come.
The wine boasts a deep garnet colour and seductive aromas of ripe cherries, plums and red licorice.
The palate is richly concentrated and powerful, with framing tannins and excellent balance and length.
