Born in 1948 from the tenacious will and ambition of a small group of winemakers navigating the challenging post-war and reconstruction years, Ponte has evolved into a powerhouse encompassing 1,000 families of winemakers covering 3,000 hectares of land distributed throughout the Veneto.

Spanning over 3,000 hectares, Ponte’s vineyards traverse a historic territory from the slopes of Montello to the course of the Piave, echoing the captivating heritage of the Serenissima Republic of Venice.
Nestled between the Adriatic Coast and the heights of the Pre-Alps in the Conegliano area, the lush vineyards thrive in the tenacious clays and light sands of the Piave, benefiting from an ideal climate for vine cultivation characterized by optimal temperature variations and the right amount of rainfall.
The vine composition predominantly features white grapes, with DOC Prosecco (Glera base) and DOC Pinot Grigio delle Venezie taking the spotlight, followed by Chardonnay, Manzoni, Merlot, Cabernet, and the native variety of the Piave area, Raboso.
