The idea behind The Distillers Edition is to provide an alternative expression of each whisky; to add richness, complexity and interest in the form of a different ‘take’ on that whisky’s attributes.

Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2021 this Oban expression was double-matured in ex-bodega Montilla Fino cask wood for a rich fruitiness and maritime flavours that bond with the fresh, sweet aromas and tastes of the regular release in an explosive, rich and deep expression of Oban.
Oban Distillers Edition won Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2008 and 2011.
It also won International Wine and Spirit Competition Gold in 2002 and 2010 (Best in Class).
In 2020, it won a third Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
