Description
The third Rum Cask release from Lark Distillery sees the return of a nor classic Lark finish, a perfect marriage of single malt whisky and their unique Tasmanian rum.
The team hand selected 10 richly fortified ex Sherry casks from their Bothwell Distillery then finishes them in their own ex Quiet Cannon Rum casks.
The resulting whisky has aromas of stewed apples, cloves, golden syrup, and almond nougat.
The palate is warm and slightly resinous.
Flavours of candied citrus, nutty dry oak, and dark toffee.
The rum really shines through on the finish with tobacco, gunpowder, and treacle.
