Koomilya DC Block Shiraz 2015 is cool and aromatic on the nose, reminiscent of the Australian bush with blood plums, fresh prunes, citrus and fresh herbs.
Pleasingly ripe, rich flavours filling all corners of the mouth with blue fruits and Eau de Vie.
A finish of dusty earth and roasted meats.
A warm, dry Spring and early summer preceeded an abnormally cool January and February.
This allowed the grapes to develop intense fruit avours and with a hot and dry harvest, excellent colour and tannin.
The result is red wine that is precise, fresh and vibrant.
