The Balvenie distillery is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Dufftown, Scotland, owned by William Grant & Sons.
In 1892 work began to convert an 18th-century mansion (Balvenie New House) into a distillery.
The building took fifteen months to complete, and on the 1st of May 1893, the first distillation took place at the Balvenie Distillery.

is once again the product of Master Blender David Stewart’s peerless skill and artistry in the tun room, with a magic combination of some of the distillery’s oldest and rarest traditional American and European oak casks.
The nose is rich and elegant with apricot, ginger snap and citrus notes, leading to vanilla, ginger spice and warm oak.
The palate is rich and refined with intense honeyed oak and rich dried fruits creating a complex layer of sweetness and spice, then warming notes of ginger and citrus are revealed within the rich warm sherried finish.
